Final proposal : Pollute Madness: Awaken of the Robot


Pollute Madness: Awaken of the Robot

Abstract:

This game is about a robot is awaken when there is a treat toward the planet and it’s task is solving the harms that are hurting the planet, in this case is the pollution. The game’s angle is mainly like Diablo or Dungeon Hunter. It is mainly about the race against time and picking up battery of sun light or valuables as extra scores.

Target Audience:

12 and above

Goal:

1) The main goal for the game is to teach people about air pollution and the causes of the air pollution and also how to solve it in general idea.

2) The game is trying to solve how the kids think of pollution today and let them aware of our world.

3) The advantage that VR can bring this game is to let the player have fun in the process of awaring the situation of pollution in this world.

4) The pollution awareness game is not something new, but in a system like this it is something that gains awareness and yet cute and fun at the same time.

Objectives:

- To let kids understand and know the causes of air pollution.

- To let kids have the idea and the ways to solve the causes of pollution.

- To have kids care more about this world while having fun

Benchmark:

Above is the gameplay that i decided on, reason is that it is easier for player to see and better for them to solve maze.

Environment



This is the feels and looks for my first level. The visual is dark and there's only a little light source.


These are the second stage visual look. A wasteland fill with scrap metal and robot parts.

Research:
The most important point of pollution in my game that is air pollution.
In my research, air pollutions affect in various ways.
the first type of affect is the toxic gas that are harmful to living organism such as sulfur oxide, nitrogen oxide, carbon monoxide etc. These substance may harm or affect the health of a living being and might produce viruses and bacterias that are harmful to their health.
The second type is the air pollution may damage the earth's ozone layer and produce a greenhouse effect that let's suns rays which contains high UV substance that harms living being's skin or any outer layer.
The third type is air pollution source may come from smokes and dusts produce by factories that harm mostly plants or any floral being that are in habitat in those areas.

In the United State of America’s environment protection agency says that air pollution can cause harm to humans or the environment.

Also there are evidence that air pollution causes heart disease and may possible lead to death

not only hearth diseases, lung diseases also causes mainly from air pollution

The air pollution was most serious during the world war 2. Because of their productions of advance weaponry with high explosive and toxin, at that time, factories were producing large amount of toxicating smokes and gases.

Description:

It starts off with a world similar to ours but instead of humans, they're robotic people.

In start, a robot has been awaken and come to his senses under a sewer dungeon place. He was low on power and the sewers are crumbling and this comes to the first level.


First Level
In the first level, player have to control the robot and get out of the sewers before each section collapse and also facing the power depleting as well ( in this case there will be a timer counting down)

after the robot got out and recharge, he sees places full of dump and scrap metals and machines . Also, he saw a factory nearby. Then he hear a voice or a task appear on his visual saying he has been awaken when the planet’s health is in danger and his purpose is to solve this matter. And this comes to the second level.

Second level
In this level, player needs to find the part where he will use to built some filtering devices that scatters around the maze like area to move to the next level.

After gathered the part and built the filter, the robot moves to the factory and going through the security obstacles. And because of the thick smoke covering the sun light, the robot has to success in a limited time. And this brings us to the final level.

Third level
In the third level, different obstacle will prevent the robot from getting into the factory. Player has to avoid the obstacles and get to the main area to put all the filter into the specific area where smokes come out.

Interaction:

User has to race against time

User can roam around in different mazes

User can find and collect items and objects.

Decided, Pollute Madness: Revenge of the Robot



I have finally decide on this. but i have added a bit of research and made some changes.

Research:
The most important point of pollution in my game that is air pollution.
In my research, air pollutions affect in various ways.
the first type of affect is the toxic gas that are harmful to living organism such as sulfur oxide, nitrogen oxide, carbon monoxide etc. These substance may harm or affect the health of a living being and might produce viruses and bacterias that are harmful to their health.

Readjustment of storyline.

It start of with a world similar to ours but instead of humans, they're robotic people.
In one perticular area was living a group of solar powered robots.

In start, these robots were living happily. One robot decided to check their sewers for maintainance, when suddenly an explosion above startled a rumble and the robot pass out. When the robot comes to his senses, he was low on power and the sewers are crumbling and this comes to the first level.

In the first level, player have to control the robot and get out of the sewers before each section collaps and also facing the power depleting as well 9 in this case there will be a timer counting down)

after the robot got out and recharge, see sees his companion all died and saw a weapon factory near by. Apparently the weapon factory tested their weapon and killed all the robots companion. lucky for him because the sewer protected him. in avenging his companion, the robot tried to gather all the back up batteries he can find and waning to overload the factory. And this comes to the second level.

In this level, player need to find the specific amount of batteries scatters around the maze like area to move to the next level.

After gather the power, the robot move to the factory and going through the security obstacles. And because eof the thick smoke covering the sun light, the robot has to success in a limited time. And this bring us to the final level.

n the final level, different obstacle will prevent the robot from getting into the factory. Player has to avoid the obstacles and get to the main power in time to overload the factory.

This game is about a little robot lost in a polluted dungeon and is trying to get out before his solar powered battery runs out. The game’s angle is mainly like Diablo or Dungeon Hunter. It is mainly about the race against time and picking up battery of sun light or valuables as extra scores.

1) The main goal for the game is to teach people about the pollution of the world and it will harm living being in this case is the robot.

2) The game is trying to solve how the kids think of pollution today and let them aware of our world.

3) The advantage that VR can brought this game is to let the player have fun in the process of awaring the situation of pollution in this world.

Benchmark:






Description:

In this game the first level is the robot woke up at the sewers and it’s full of dump and there’s only a limited time left until the robot’s power runs out. So the player need to get the robot to the exit of the sewer to recharge it’s solar power.

In the second level, right after recharge, the robot saw most of his companion died of pollution and died, is revenge, the robot need to find the amount of the sunlight power batteries that his companion left to over load the factory and end this madness.

Interaction:

User has to race against time

User can roam around two different mazes

User can find and collect the battery power.
